For the soap purists: Our classic white soap is scented with a bright lavender essential oil blend. Made with organic coconut oil and unrefined shea butter, this bar is extremely moisturizing and bubbly.

Individually poured into oval molds, this soap shape has the best hand feel as it rotates effortlessly between your palms.

Please note: our shea butter is made in Ghana and sometimes contains tiny specks of shea nut. You can’t feel the specks, but may notice them as small dots against white soap.

Making shea butter is a laborious process:

• The nuts of the Shea tree are first boiled in a large pot, which makes the shell easier to break.

• When the nuts are cooled, they are cracked by hand to release the shea nut.

• The extracted nuts are then washed and left to dry to remove all moisture.

• The dried nuts are crushed into small pieces and roasted until transformed into a dark brown paste.

• Water is added, stirred for a lengthy period of time, then rinsed several times with distilled water to purify it.

• The purified paste is then heated over a fire until the fat rises to the top.

• Finally, the fat is skimmed off the top and allowed to solidify, which results in Shea Butter.
